Day 30: Nothing the team can't handle

This weekend we've been working on various build projects. We have been testing the robot with the defenses we built. There were some issues with electronics not being secured and flying off the robot, so we solved that problem with more zip ties on the power board. Then we had a problem with the robot getting stuck on some of the barriers. To solve this issue, we made four wooden wheels that can spin freely to go in between the six tread wheels so that the robot can't get stuck on the barriers. Our team also began designing the bumpers this weekend. The CAD model for our bumpers is finished and now students are prototyping. As for the arm, we have been working on it and so far its going well, the biggest issue has been making sure the holes we drill in the frame our perfectly aligned. We are trying to make sure the dimmensions of our arm are as close as possible to the CAD model. The goal for the arm is to finish it by the end of the weekend. So, so far its been fun, there have been some bumps along the road but nothing our team can't handle.
